Jeg så på den nye episoden av Typen til på nrknettv i dag og tegnet fine selvportrett
#corpsebride #drawing #timburton I can’t remember exactly when I did the first one, but my development this last year has been insane. I did the second one earlier today before yoga with @phiemon
I recently got a scholarship for visual art, and it’s a lot of money I really don’t know what to do! But it’s the biggest accomplishment of my life and I am very happy! Only 100 people in Norway got one, so I am a very, very lucky person right now. The fact that someone believed in my work is the best part! That they believed in me enough to spend so much money.. ON ME? Woah.. Thank you!
And a big thank you to my mother who literally forced me(oh well, convinced me) to ask for it.
My artistic side is dead right now. RIP. But with some hard work I’ll bring it up from it’s grave and electrify it back to life!
.. That or I have put my standards higher than what I can produce at the moment.
Either way.. I won’t disappoint. The scholarship will be cherished and spent well on what an aspiring animator might need.
- A out
- “Tell me a kind of person I should draw” I asked my brother
- “… Uhm.. Draw an old man with a crooked back and sun glasses”
So I did - followed with his wife and her cat, living the life in Florida
Today I made a quick poster for a friend’s band called Padawan. You should have a listen. Their music is pretty schweet!
Weird Girl and Mr. Whiskers (Frankenweenie 2012) art doll done by me
I just love love love the character design of Frankenweenie. I will never get tired of Tim Burton and I just find myself more and more inspired by him as time goes by. Weird girl is just wonderfully strange.
This took me some time, and I’d love to make more Tim Burton dolls in the future. Their faces and expressions are always a challenge. This is the first one I’m quite happy with and ready to show off.
